The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) took an unusually long time to report out on the incidents for the month of September 2024. The data shows a decrease in the number of attacks on staff, a change in the trend from the past few months. The CDCR report shows 320 violent acts against staff members compared to 379 attacks in the previous month.
