California State Prison – Corcoran inmate attempts to escape from hospital

On January 7, 2026 an inmate from the California State Prison – Corcoran attempted to escape from an outside hospital. At about 2110 hours, Inmate Jonathan Wadsworth (BB6479) was at the Adventist Health Handford Hospital for medical treatment being escorted across the hospital parking lot by two officers. Wadsworth broke free from the officer’s grasp and began to run away.
