On Sunday, May 26, 2024, at approximately 2030 hours, several officers reported hearing gunfire along with sounds of ricocheting rounds within the C facility yard. After the original volley of gunfire, some officers reporting hearing additional gunshots. There were also reports of a drone flying over the facility. No officers or inmates were injured during the incident.
Later, during searches of the facility, used bullet projectiles were found on the yard.
